2022’s Exam will be a MID-WEEK Event

The annual Certified exam will test the six core components over three days. The annual meeting will be held via Zoom at a later date.

Due to the challenges of the US National race being held at Sugarloaf and the COVID19 pandemic, the event was moved to mid-week to gain greater access to lodging, minimizing interaction with racers, and maintaining a safer environment for all attendees.

COVID19 protocols will be in place. It is highly recommended to be vaccinated with a booster shot. Please bring your Vaccination Card to check in. Masking during the event both indoor and outdoors. Sanitizing all equipment, and social distancing throughout the event.

Wednesday – early arrival – ORM, LAR, AVY exam
Thursday – S&T and depending on time – Lift Evac/LAR
Friday – OEC exam early, OEC in the morning with the completion of remaining components by day’s end.

Sugarloaf will issue ski lift tickets based on the ticket purchased here. $35.00 per person per day. Tickets will be issued at check-in. Do NOT go to the ticket booth.

The Banquet is canceled based on current COVID19 protocols.

Lodging

Lodging reservations can be made by calling 1-800-843-5623. This is the Sugarloaf lodging reservations line. Please identify yourself as NSP Certified exam for March 16-18. If you are looking for options they can be found on the Sugarloaf website. Please call and make your reservation as soon as possible.

We will be working out of the Sugarloaf Inn. As some of you might remember, this is next to the Snubber chairlift, on the Birches trail. We are trying to keep ourselves sequestered from the public and the US National race going on during this time. LAR, LE, OEC, AVY will all be completing interviews, and testing on those trails – some may change. Please check the scheduling board when you arrive.
