Meeting of the Eastern Division Board of Directors

This year there are some changes to procedure.

Thank you for coming to the Eastern Division’s Fall Officers’ Meeting event registration site. 

The Fall Officers’ Meeting (FOM) is an annual gathering for the Eastern Division Board of Directors to plan for the upcoming winter ski patrolling season.   The FOM 2021 comes to order at the Hyatt Place – Saratoga/Malta, NY, at 12 noon on Saturday, September 11th, and concludes on Sunday, September 12th.  Sunday’s meeting typically lasts until 2 PM, depending on the agenda.

Meeting Info:

    • This meeting is by invitation only.  Everyone must be cleared by the Division Director.  No walk-ins allowed.
    • Vaccinations are required.  We will be documenting proof of vaccinations before the event.  Kate and Nancy will schedule individual Zoom or FaceTime calls with each registered guest.  It takes less than 15 seconds to hold up your card for them to read.  The purpose of documenting vaccines is for tracking and safety, not policing.  In the event of an outbreak, this information will be needed.
    •  Everyone will be expected to sign a release prior to attending the FOM
    • This “in-person” meeting will not have a Zoom option.
Hotel Registration Info:
    • Eastern Division covers the expense for Region Directors and Division personnel who have been invited to the meeting.  A PROMOTIONAL CODE that offsets the determined lodging rate, which includes all meeting meals, will be emailed to invitees as soon as possible.  Please register as individuals if you have a promo code.  Promo codes are not to be shared.
    • This event is typically sold as a “Double Occupancy Per Person Hotel,” and attendees pair up with their peers to assemble roommates.  This year, double-occupancy is not available.
    • Coming off COVID protocols, Eastern Division will be offering “PRIVATE ROOM” Promo-Codes to all board members.  We value in-person meetings and hope that this encourages our leaders to attend.  Future meetings will most likely return to the Division’s long-time travel practices.
    • For those traveling with invited guests, you may select the option for “Plus One”.  NOTE: Invited guests traveling with meeting attendees will also be expected to meet the release and vaccination requirements.

Hotel registration ends on August 21st.  We thank everyone who is invited for their patience and attention to help us complete registration within the shortened time window.
