Killington VT – Certified Calibration/Patrollers School Weekend 2024

This event will be run throughout the weekend.  Most Pre-Test candidates stay and attend the Certified Calibration to continue rigorous training for Certified.

A two-day experience covering 5 of the 6 modules, designed to introduce the Certified Program expectations.  The event begins on snow with: skiing, toboggan handling, and the OEC surveys – (no scenarios), then Avalanche and low-angle rescue are introduced. The Outdoor Risk Management component will be interspersed via indoor interviews and on the hill assessments.   Throughout the two days, indoor-based modules are interspersed.  The goal is to give participants practice that sets the bar for entire Certified program expectations.
