Sugarloaf ME – Certified Annual Exam 2026

2026 NSP Eastern Division Certified Annual Examination

Sugarloaf is pleased to host the Eastern Division’s Certified Programs annual exam. The NSP Certified exam will test the six core components over three days. The annual meeting will be held on Sunday morning.  The examination process will start bright and early Thursday morning.  All existing Certified members are asked to attend and participate in the examination. Please, civilian jackets only – No crosses.

Lodging and Registration 

Lodging will all be done via web-based form or telephone directly to Sugarloaf. You may contact Sugarloaf directly via telephone or online at their website.  The phone number is “1 800 THE LOAF.”  Please refer to the “Eastern Division Certified Exam” to get the group rate and the room from the Certified Program’s “group” block.  Please do NOT wait to secure housing.  There are a variety of housing options at the LOAF that are reserved for us until early January.  There are two larger condo units that can sleep multiple couples, etc  Please just ask for details.

VRBO/Air B&B options are available individually – please make your reservation independently of this registration.

All lift tickets will be purchased as part of registration on Patrollerschool.org.  Pricing is as noted below:

The tickets are listed at the bottom of this registration page.  Please only purchase tickets for the day you will be skiing.

Lift Tickets purchased on patrollerschool.org will be issued at the event check-in desk. Do NOT go to the ticket booth.

Wednesday Lift Ticket price:  $60.00

Thursday Lift Ticket price (Non Certified) $60.00

Friday LIft Ticket price (Non Certfied) $60.00

Saturday Lift Ticket price (Non Certified) $60.00 (if you are helping with OEC, then your ticket is free – just check when registering on this page that you will help with OEC)

TIcket prices for all Certfied Members (Skiing Thursday – Saturday) is a flat price of $100.00.

Schedule (subject to change w/out notice) 

Wednesday – Staff arrival

Thursday – ORM, AVY, LAR as scheduled, Re-certs, OET scout terrain, OEC Written

Friday – OET, Lift Evac, LAR, ORM, AVY. OEC Written

Saturday –  OEC and remaining modules.  Banquet Saturday evening.

Sunday – Annual meeting – 8AM start

Re-certs

Re-certs will be on Thursday and Friday.  Look at the posted schedule upon arrival. The OET Re-cert Chair is Dave Smith.

Banquet Buffet

The Banquet will be a buffet with choices for varying dietary needs, but please indicate any specific dietary restrictions you have in the registration form.
